Well, here we are some 6 years after my last post... WOW! God has done some amazing things in my life. He works fast, accurately, and amazingly. I have seen many miracles these past 6 years, not the least of which is my family. Those of you that know me, know what I am talking about, those that don't, perhaps one day you will. The Roman Road

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV) For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV) And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. I'm a sinner...

Dear God, I’m a sinner. I’m sorry for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe He died for my sin and that You raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Jesus, I put my trust in You and I surrender my life to You. Please come into my life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

Good morning American how are you? Happy independence day!!! God bless America! Oh yes, there is a God, and your not Him. Is that (Him) a sexist remark? Not at all, the English language (you know, the language that most of us were taught and actually learned in school when it wasn't Being re-designed my people that didn't care so much) uses the masculine pronoun as a gender neutral when referring to a person if the gender is not specific. You see, God is NOT male nor female. He is also not black, white, red, yellow, green, pink, blue, or any other color (not to leave any out). God is spirit; actually He is THE Spirit, THE HOLY SPIRIT. Guess what? Even if you don't want to believe in Him (you have that right in American because people, many people, died for that right - um, today celebrates that victory) you will. The question is, WHEN you believe in Him, will it be too late? You see, He IS in fact a holy God, but also a righteous God. Because of His total justice He CANNOT go against His own words; for the wages of sin is death. Well, we are souls (guess you might have thought you were a body), yes souls, and we HAVE bodies. Our body will die, but THAT is NOT the death God was talking about; He was talking about an eternal separation from Him. He also said that ALL have sinned, and fall short of His Glory. That means we all (yes even me ALL) have failed and can't be allowed into God's Presence. Well, I guess THAT is THAT! Might as well live like the devil! NO! He, God (remember God? He's the One I've been talking about) made a way; actually He made THE WAY! Well, believe it or not (you will) Jesus Christ IS The Way. Don't you see, He, Jesus, was sent (more accurately God made Himself into a human form in order to relay to us a message in a way we could understand) to pay the price for sin, for all those who would believe. THIS is what the Forth of July, INDEPENDENCE DAY (remember Independence Day? That's what this post is about), means to our founding fathers - freedom to worship our Lord Jesus Christ without the government telling us how. Pick up a historic history book (that means one written before history was edited so drastically) and you will find the truth of history; pick up a historic Bible (that would be one that aligns with the Dead Sea scrolls) and you will find THE TRUTH about God. DO NOT LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU ANY LONGER! You have the tools to find out the truth for yourself! Seek and you will find! Seek for truth, that is what you will find, seek for a way to prove you are right in your deception, that is what you will find. DON'T let others decide your future, take charge and bend your future into something you will never regret. Independence: NOT DEPENDING ON OTHERS. It depends on YOU taking control of you own future, and not let anyone deceive you; not even yourself.

Convicted, not Condemned.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1, 2 NKJV)

This means that those who have accepted Christ will not be separated from Him so long as they live their lives according to Way of Christ. Before Christ or without Christ we only have the Law to live by and violation of the law in any way condemns us to separation from Christ. In Christ we have Grace and are allowed to turn to Him in "repentance" (say I'm sorry to Christ) so that the innocence of Christ might be restored to us. HE is INNOCENT thus when He died on our behalf, He took on himself the condemnation that was due us, setting us free; and restoring the innocence we were created with in The Garden; we are guilty of sin; we are sinners; we all deserve death; He has taken our place (He was executed on our behalf).

He alone is worthy, He alone is Lord.

Praise God that we now, in Christ, have a Way whereby we can spend all eternity with our Awesome Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pregnant With Jesus

Even as Mary (the mother of Christ) was filled with the Holy Spirit, became pregnant with The Word (Jesus Christ), labored to give birth to The Word and The Word then spread around the Earth, so must it be with each of us to whom life has been granted, if we wish to be partakers of that life with The Word for all eternity.

Invite and allow the Holy Spirit of God to so impregnate you with The Word of God that you will grow in the knowledge of Who He is and thus spread that knowledge around your world of influence to such an extent that not only you , but your entire world is changed.

May I become less that He may become more.

Wow! I can't believe the foolish dribble people will come up with just so they can explain away a Holy God...

Well, according to a video I just watched, the Israelite had an alien-created Manna Machine called, "The Ancient of Days" provide food for them while they wandered in the desert for 40 years. It seems that it was powered by a nuclear device that was carried in the Ark of the Covenant (which is why people died when they touched it). Question: why didn't these ever-so-helpful aliens give them directions to their vacation destination since it was only 10 days journey away? HOW FOOLISH SCIENTISTS MUST THINK PEOPLE ARE!!! It is 10 times harder to believe their rot than to just accept that God is God. I am astounded!

Just think...

When God created us He knew what was going to be required of Him to save us from sin, yet, His love was that great, that He made us regardless of the cost. Have you counted the cost of loving Him? Have you decided that it is too much? Have you considered the cost of NOT loving Him? "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:22-23. Sin: a violation of the known will of God. Penalty: eternal separation from the One that loves us more than any other, and the Only One worthy of our love.

When Does Human Life Begin?

These are FACTS. Do not bother me with arguments. Nothing changes FACT.

If life was discovered on another planet there are criteria we would refer to conclusively determine if the claim was accurate. How do scientists identify life?

A scientific textbook called “Basics of Biology” gives five characteristics of living things; these five criteria are found in all modern elementary scientific textbooks:

All living things... are highly organized, have an ability to acquire materials and energy, have an ability to respond to their environment, have an ability to reproduce, and have an ability to adapt.

According to this life begins at fertilization, when a sperm unites with an egg. At this point all five things above are true. Non-living things do not do these things. Even before the mother is aware that she is pregnant, a distinct, unique life has begun his or her existence inside her.

That life is human. A human being is a member of the species homo sapiens. Human beings are products of conception, which is when a human male sperm unites with a human female egg.

What goes through a guys head?...

What does it take?

What does it take to make it into God's Heaven? Let's look at the facts according to The Holy Bible...

God is. He is all powerful, all present, and all knowing.
Man is in a fallen state of sin.
There is good and evil.
History records all that God has done.
God Himself has sent a redeemer as predicted in Isaiah of the Old Testament in The Holy Bible.

The price paid for sin must be death; that is the price that God paid for us with the life of His only begotten Son.

There is much more, but this is the basics. Satan knows and that is not enough, so just to know it is not enough for us either. There must be more to it.

How can we know that we have a place reserved for us in God's Heaven?

Here is one way...
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a)
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelations 3:20a)

Even if you don't believe in God, if you take the step to look to the heavens and ask that anyone there would show themselves to you in a way that you can understand, God will honor that prayer and show you Who He is.

Don't be Afraid; Just Believe

What if?

People will wait until midnight on April 15th to mail their taxes, but if something prevents them from getting to the post office, their taxes are overdue. In the same respect, "what if" you live a wicked life, planning to ask forgiveness at the last moment, something could happen to prevent you from doing so. Then there is always the possibility that by the time you get there you don't care any more, or that your heart no longer leans toward God. He judges by that heart. If we use the wait till we get there plan, He already knows our heart. Is giving up the sinful pleasures of this life such a high price to pay for an eternity with God?

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21 KJV)

David Hamstrug Chariot Horses

When King David won battles over other kingdoms he would cripple the chariot horses of the vanquished armies (except for about 100 of them) so they could not be used any longer. The chariots were the greatest asset to war at the time and the Lord did not want His people to trust in them. (Psalm 20:7) "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." God always seems to make Himself weak, so that the world will see how strong He really is. Tying His hands behind His back and taking on Satan.

How does God get your attention?

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow... He does not change. Sometimes He tells us to "be still and know that I am God." Shut up, Be still, Keep quiet, who is to say how it translates to our own hearts. Shut up is a bit harsh to some ears, to others, perhaps it is just a way to get through our thick heads. God is not so passive as one might think... He has wiped out entire people groups, men, women, and children. GOD is awesome, mighty and should be feared always (not in terror, but in respect for His awesome power).

What god do you serve?

The highest price ever paid for anything in the world, was paid for you, by the only One that knows your true heart, yet still loves you; the One we ignore for more reasons than we can every excuse; the One that stands up for us even when we are turning away from Him; the One we will stand before one day, and realize that we have waisted so much time, money, and passion on things that have no value: Lord Jesus, forgive us! - Look at your day; what have you spent more time doing than anything else? That is your god.

So What if...

... you live your entire life believing there is no God and you come to the end of it only to find that there is? What have you lost? EVERYTHING!

... you live your entire life as though there is a God and you come to the end of it only to find that there isn't? What have you lost? NOTHING!

... intelligence would seem to say that believing in God is the only wise step to take. As for me and my house? We will serve the Lord.
